What’s in a name? Everything, according to Kandi Burruss who explains to fans why she decided to name her son Ace.
I originally wanted to name my first son ‘Cash,'” she tells the ladies of The Real. “It was like this big deal because Kim Zolciak from Housewives previously, she named her son ‘Cash.’ He’s so cute, it works for him. So I had to come up with a new name,” Kandi shares.
The selection process was quite meticulous for Kandi. “‘Ace’ means so many great things,” Burruss explains. “Everything is positive. So I felt like, yeah, that’s the name for him.”
Ace is Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker’s first child. He celebrated his first birthday earlier this month. Kandi Burruss also has a daughter named Riley from a previous relationship.
