Ed Hartwell found out that his daughter, Ella Grace, was born when the rest of the world learned of the joyous occurrence. Sources close to the former NFL player tell Page Six that Ed’s lawyer informed him of his daughter’s birth.
“He didn’t get a call or anything [from Knight Pulliam or her family],” a family friend shares. “Ed basically found out at the same time as the rest of the world.”
Keshia shared news of her daughter’s arrival with social media fans on Monday. “Ella Grace has arrived,” the celebrity told Instagram subscribers.
It’s not completely shocking to learn of possible discord between Keshia and Ed if such chaos does indeed exist. The former NFL player hinted at the idea of his estranged wife being an infidel and indirectly presented the idea of Ella Grace not being his child shortly after Keshia announced her expectancy last year.
“Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave,” Keshia told ET Online in response to allegations of infidelity. The actress told media that Ed, not her, was the unfaithful party in their union. “The part that hurt me the most when he filed for divorce was that he had asked me to give him another chance, and I was willing to do that and forgive him, for our family,” she revealed.
Keshia dispelled accusations of Ella Grace being the daughter of another man other than her estranged husband. Ed Hartwell still believes that the little one is not his child, according to family friends.
