Heartbreaking news comes from Remy Ma and Papoose who reveal shocking information about their family’s expansion during the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop. The celebrity couple goes on a whirlwind of emotions from mountaintop happiness after learning of their expectancy to valley low sadness when Remy suffers from an ectopic pregnancy.
“I promised my husband that I would give him the child that he’s been asking me for since almost the day he met me and I can’t do that anymore,” Remy tells viewers. The doctor informs the ecstatic rapper that her child is developing in the fallopian tubes, which is causing her to have an ectopic pregnancy. Although he is able to save Remy’s uterus with emergency surgery that removes the fetus, the physician is not able to maintain his patient’s reproductive abilities. In short, Remy cannot have any more full term pregnancies.
“Thank you to everyone that sent their congrats as well as condolences,” Remy shared after the episode aired. “This was a hard time for me and my husband and we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all. I was totally against it but in a fit of crying @papoosepapoose said ‘you are not the only one going thru this, we will get thru it’ …made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don’t have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright. So I’m here to tell anyone going thru a similar situation that it is not over and God has the last say so.”
Remy Ma also thanked the medical staff who were “respectful and did everything to ensure I was comfortable.” The rapper gave a special shoutout to the doctor who performed her emergency surgery. “Don’t retire yet,” she said. “Once we find the right in vitro dr you have to deliver my babies.”
