Oduwole has met with 23 presidents and prime ministers in total, she has been interviewed by personalities on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, the BBC, and CNN, in addition to other accolades such as being named to the New African Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in Africa” list, the Business Insider’s “World’s Most Powerful Person at Every Age”, and Elle Magazine’s “33 Women Who Changed The World”.
As if all of the above were not enough, Oduwole has had the opportunity to host her own TEDxKids Talk, address the joint body of the United Nations, in addition to having spoken to more than 24,900 children across 11 countries on education. It is no wonder why U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry chose to honor Oduwole for her efforts, joining with many in diplomatic circles, praising the young teen, stating that one day she might just be the next U.S. Secretary of State or for that matter, the youngest UN Secretary-General.
Oduwole makes it clear that her main focus and goal is to inspire young black girls such as herself and that she is “concerned that not every girl has a right to get an education or a chance to accomplish her dreams like she does.”
