Hendrix Hart is becoming a part of the solution. The son of Kevin Hart and comedienne Torrei Hart joins others in starring in Lee England Jr.’s music video for ‘Are We The People?’
The song challenges listeners to have an honest conversation about the United States Constitution. “They killin’ us in the streets/ Even let us see,” England rhymes. “The put the s**t on TV/ The revolution’s being televised/ I thought it wasn’t gon’ be televised.”
Hendrix is the first actor in the video who comes in contact with a vicious dog. He immediately drops the paper airplane that he was creating when the animal shows his teeth. The paper airplane shows up later when England, who portrays an unarmed African American man, is murdered by police officers. The airplane accompanies the artist’s violin in the scene.
“My baby had the opportunity to star in @leeenglandjr music video for his latest song ‘Are we the People,'” proud mom Torrei Hart told Instagram fans on Monday. “This video will start a conversation. About the institutes that divide us. Directed by @art__la and @Mollymignon.”
Hendrix is Kevin Hart and comedienne Torrei Hart’s youngest child. The former couple also have a daughter named Heaven. Check out the music video for ‘Are We The People?’ here!
