April Star is not even an official teenager and this amazing young budding model has millions following her every move. First diagnosed with Vitiligo at the age of 6, Star has quickly become an inspiration for many. With 116k Instagram followers and counting, this motivating preteen is redefining beauty in a big way!

Embracing her “love spots”, as she refers to her patches of non-pigmented skin, Star regularly posts images of herself on Instagram with motivating quotes that are meant to encourage and uplift young girls, letting them know to, “never be afraid to show the REAL YOU!”


Star’s mission is to inspire and speak out against bullying. Among her role models that embody her aspirations are her big sister and America’s Next Top Models Canadian alum, Winnie Harlow. Star had the opportunity to meet her Harlow and Harlow said, “I see the little girl that I could have been at her age. The confidence that I have now I had none when I was her age. So, when I see her all over the internet and social media, I see the little girl I wish I could have been. I wish I had all that confidence.”


What does this remarkable young lady want to be when she grows up? Well, of course she wants to continue modeling but as a backup, she would choose acting.  It is without a doubt that this phenom will probably do both, because her last name says it all!
