Justin Combs is striking out on his own and giving back this holiday season. The son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, along with his company TONITE and sponsor partner Food Haus, hosted the 1st Annual CombsGiving Day at Food Haus Cafe in Los Angeles.
CombsGiving was a FREE community Thanksgiving dinner & block carnival festival, which served over 300 hundred families and homeless youth from several non-profit organizations and youth shelters including, The Los Angeles Youth Network,Jovenes Inc. foundation, The Los Angeles Trade Tech Guardian Scholars Program and LA’s Best Foundation.
#CombsGiving Day was more like a carnival as there were many games provided by FUN Services. Wall climbing, face paintings, and caricature drawings were three of many activities to show recipients a good time. Various pampering sessions, including haircuts offered by Studio Kay and Ara G., were also provided. Milla’s Event Rentals decorated for the party that included cotton candy and popcorn carts.
“I feel truly blessed in life and it’s only right that I give back, that is where my heart and passion are,” Justin Combs said in a statement. The star gave five winners of the event’s youth talent contest received $500 each in scholarship funds. Justin’s alma mater, UCLA, was on-site to explain collegiate options to kids.
