CIARA DEBUTS BABY BUMP AT AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

No one works the red carpet like Ciara! The ‘I Bet’ singer stole the show as she made her way through the spotlight while rocking a black gown that showed off her baby bump at this year’s American Music Awards. The dress flared out below the waist but hugged every part of her protruding stomach.

“I’m feeling great,” Ciara told Jason Kennedy of E! News before heading into the Microsoft Theater on Sunday. Although her glow was evident, the expectant star admitted that she has experienced her fair share of morning sickness.

“[I’m] finally getting to a place where [I’m] almost normal,” Ciara shared with Jason. “It was a bit of an ‘I don’t want to throw up, but I don’t feel regular.’ I’m in between. That’s almost worse. You’d rather just throw up and get it done,” she said.

Even with wooziness, Ciara manages to fulfill all of her commitments. “I think when I’m working, I don’t feel anything at all,” she revealed. “I was just dancing for a Christmas special in New York for Dave Meyers and I didn’t feel anything.”

As someone who has been in the industry for several years, Ciara knows all too well about the pitfalls and challenges of a singing career. Such is the reason why she would prefer her son, Future Zahir, pick a profession outside of show business. “If that’s his dream, I support him,” she told Jason. However, “This is a tough industry, so it’s my dream that he does something else.”

Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, are expecting their first child together. Little Future is Ciara’s son with rapper Nayvadius Cash.
