If you come for Chrissy Teigen, you can count on her to return the favor of putting you on blast. The celebrity mom tells TODAY that she is a proud shamer of Internet trolls who attempt to belittle her abilities as a parent.
“I just like to call people out,” Teigen says. “Sometimes it’s just for entertainment of my other followers, and sometimes it’s to genuinely see if they know that there’s somebody else on the other side of that screen that they’re talking to.”
Unfortunately for Teigen, the majority of her critics are more focused on getting a reply from her than analyzing their comments. “Most of the time, they’re just so excited to get a reply that that’s the frustrating part,” she admits. “You realize they don’t even think this, they’re just saying it because they wanted to rile you up, or they wanted a hello.”
Although such “childish” behavior annoys the celebrity mom to no end, Chrissy does not allow such negativity keep her from sharing precious moments between her, Luna, and John Legend.
“John and I were together for 10 years,” Chrissy says of her and John’s relationship. “Obviously he’s the most loving, sweetest, romantic person on the planet,” Teigen adds. “But to see this with a little baby and a little someone who looks just like him and to see them together and to see her light up when she’s with him, is really cool because she’s just like, he can do no wrong.”
Luna is John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s first child together. The little one is featured in her father’s latest music video for the hit song ‘Love Me Now,’ and has been stealing hearts nationwide since her birth earlier this year. Chrissy and John will celebrate their daughter’s first birthday next April.
