Torrei Hart is encouraging moms and dads to cherish every moment spent with their kids. The celebrity mom recently shared pictures of her with Heaven and Hendrix on the set of up-and-coming artist Lee England Jr.
“Had fun today shooting a music video for Quincy Jones new artists @leeenglandjr,” Torrei wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @art__la for picking my son. He was so excited that he was able to live out one of his dreams.” Hendrix was all smiles while taking a picture with the rest of the music video’s crew. Heaven was in full support of her little brother as she took pictures and hung out with mom on the sidelines.
Although she doesn’t upload photos of her kids on a daily basis, Torrei felt like sharing her heart earlier this week. “My parenting method is not traditional at all but it works for me and my family,” she wrote. “My babies make me so happy,” the celebrity mom added. “I learn something new from them everyday.”
Torrei further advised parents to go with what works for them. “Never let anyone tell you how to raise your kids,” she admonished. “Remember God entrusted you with your little vessels for a reason. Seek guidance from him when it comes to parenting and if you have those days where you feel you need help ask for it.” Torrei told her followers that she maintains “open communication with my kids and I respect their opinions just like I do with adults.”
The celebrity mom is certainly doing a fabulous job of co-parenting with ex-husband Kevin Hart. Torrei was the first person to give her congratulations to the comedian on his marriage to longtime girlfriend Eniko Parrish earlier this year.
“I can say I messed my first marriage up. I’m man enough to say that,” Kevin admitted during a conversation with Chelsea Handler a few weeks ago. “I will say that me and my ex-wife, regardless of the problems we went through, are in an amazing place now where we’re friends, we’re great parents, we’re co-parents,” he revealed.
Heaven and Hendrix were by their father’s side when he tied the knot with Eniko in August. The comedian was married to Torrei Hart for more than seven years before divorcing in 2011.
