This year’s Emmy Awards will not soon be forgotten by Anthony Anderson. Not only did the actor receive a nomination for his performance on the hit ABC series Black-ish, but he also had his daughter by his side to help him celebrate.
Kyra wore a beautiful gown to the event. The teen took a few candids with dad at home before heading out to the Emmy Awards. “Date nights begins right now. I love my baby girl,” Anderson captioned.
The actor expressed a lot of gratitude for his mother, Doris Hancox, who sacrificed much for her son’s success. “My mother put her dreams of being an actor on hold to raise an actor in me,” Anderson told media at Sunday’s Emmy Awards. He further explained, “That’s why I have my mother with me wherever I go for the most part – because she’s living her dream through me.”
Anthony Anderson has won several awards since beginning his career as an actor more than a decade ago. The celebrity dad has two kids in all.
