Tensions are high between Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his son, Marquise Jackson, who had yet another social media spat.
Fifty Cent posted a countdown clock to represent the number of days left in his child support agreement with Marquise’s mom, Shaniqua Tompkins. Curtis further got his point across by writing, “Man real life is gonna start Sooners then you think. Sad part is I wish you well, good #Shanquagetsajob.” Marquise responded to his father’s jab by telling him, “Don’t worry, I’ll make u proud! Just don’t forget to tell me happy birthday that day cause u missed a few.”
Whereas some would have left the issue alone, Curtis decided to further dig into the matter by sending an open message to Marquise’s mom. “Life is full of choices,some you can’t take back,” he shared. “If you hate me why you don’t change your son’s name to Tompkins. If I’m the problem why were you crying saying it’s your fault you didn’t let him see his grandparents for 4 years? I’m not your enemy you are. #startJOBhuntingNOw.”
Marquise is 50 Cent’s only child with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. The rapper also has a son named Sire with Daphne Narvaez. Marquise turns 21-years-old on October 13, 2017, at which time 50 Cent will no longer be financially responsible for him.
