Angela Simmons was surrounded by love at her baby shower a few days ago. The expectant star expressed gratitude for family and friends who gave her a spectacular party.

“Today was filled so much love … Friends and family,” Angela exclaimed. “Thank you everyone who came today,” she added. Simmons also gave thanks to the Sugar Factory in New York City for hosting the event.

Danielle Rothweiler planned the event for Angela. The designer’s expertise was on full display as every portion of the party exhibited attention to detail. Various shades of blue and silver ribbons adorned the tables. The food was the epitome of creative as macaroni and cheese balls were served alongside chicken fingers and fried shrimp. Fries and wings were also a part of the finger food menu.

It wouldn’t have been a complete event without the Sugar Factory’s signature cocktails. The drinks were one of many sweet treats served at the gathering. Pastries and candies were a buildup to the main cake, which was blue and fabulous.

Angela Simmons and her fiance, Sutton Tennyson, are expecting their first child together. “We are overjoyed and super excited to receive a blessing this big,” Angela told Instagram fans a few months back. “Starting a family was something that I could have only dreamed of.” Angela and Sutton are expecting their son to arrive on coming weeks.
