Mother, actress, singer, dancer, and author, Vanessa Williams is one of the most recognized multi-faceted faces in the entertainment industry today. Known as one of the most beautiful women in the industry, it is surprising that Williams spent years struggling to feel confident in front of the crowd because of acne breakouts.

“We both started getting acne in middle school, which can be a rough time for most kids,” recalls Williams in the same interview. “The added stress of breakouts was hard for me and I saw that it was beginning to affect Sasha too.” Thanks to her mother’s impressive results and firsthand knowledge of Proactiv, Sasha didn’t have to go far for advice and immediately began using the product as a part of her daily skincare routine.
