Phaedra Parks and her son Ayden hosted a spectacular pop-up shop for charity a few days ago. The celebrity mom teamed up with a few of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars to deliver a smash hit event for the Phaedra Foundation.
Parks’ non-profit can be viewed as a collection of several programs that all serve to benefit the community. Save Our Sons is one of many initiatives that helps kids in the Atlanta. Phaedra and her foundation recently expanded their efforts beyond Georgia with Camp Joy, which is situated just outside of Flint, Michigan. The overnight getaway is geared towards children affected by the city’s recent water crisis.
Several local teachers and celebrities have already volunteered to serve at Camp Joy. “I want the children to come to the camp, and just be children,” Phaedra shares. “I want to provide them with true joy.”
Dylan and Ayden are Phaedra Parks’ kids with estranged husband Apollo Nida. Ayden celebrated his sixth birthday in May while Dylan rang in his third birthday during the same month.
