Keshia Knight Pulliam is enjoying pregnancy. The actress recently shared a picture of herself showing off her protruding stomach while hanging out poolside. “The joy of sitting by the pool and not having to suck your stomach in,” Keshia captioned.
It was just a few days ago that the expectant star shared her birthing plan with media. “I am very clear: I want all the drugs. I have good insurance. I want every drug you could give me,” she said. “I want to be smiling. I do not want to feel a human come through my vagina,” Keshia added. She further explained, “I have no judgment for women who want to do [a natural birth] — more power to you — but I’m clear on who I am and that isn’t who I am. I am a punk for pain.”
Although she doesn’t want to experience every aspect of labor and delivery, Keshia is looking forward to the challenge of balancing motherhood with her career. “I know my first priority is motherhood and everything else follows,” she revealed. “I’ve always envisioned myself as very much an active mom, one who’s still working. I’m going to strap this baby on, we’re going to put it in the stroller and we’re going to keep it moving.”
Keshia is expecting her bundle of joy to arrive in coming months. The little one will be the actress’ first child with estranged husband Ed Hartwell.
