Christina Milian joined Pharrell Williams in celebrating the release of his ‘Yoobi x i am OTHER’ collection on Thursday. The celebrity mom and her daughter, Violet, took a few pictures before heading into the venue to support the cause.

Stationery company Yoobi has teamed up with singer Pharrell Williams’ creative collective, i am OTHER, to launch its new back-to-school collection. The collection includes pens, notebooks, pencil cases and more. “The goal of this Yoobi x i am OTHER collection is to inspire kids and give them the confidence to celebrate their uniqueness,” Pharrell tells media. “We also want to inspire kids to take care of others and give back to their communities.”

Williams hopes that his contribution to classrooms will lead to more positive attitudes outside of school. “When there’s positivity, and it’s galvanized properly then you find an effect and hopefully through the domino effect it can actually help some of the current issues that are happening,” he explains. “I realize that [kids are] gonna grow up and see the things that’s happening, and hopefully they won’t make the same mistakes so that the future don’t repeat the past.”

Yoobi x i am OTHER is sold at Target stores nationwide. Proceeds from sales will go towards classrooms in the United States in need of school supplies. Pharrell Williams has one child, Rocket, with wife Helen Lasichanh.
