David Otunga Jr. turned seven on Wednesday and to celebrate, his parents threw him an epic birthday party. Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé David Otunga went all out for their son’s seventh birthday. Themed the ‘D7 Games’, the party’s main attraction was an obstacle course built that was inspired by David’s favorite television show, American Ninja Warrior:
Also inside the soiree was a photo booth, an ice cream truck, and a dance party. When the time came to blow out the candles, J.Hud shoved a piece of cake in her son’s face and declared a food fight. Once things calmed down, the proud mama brought out the “real cake” which was decorated with black and white stripes and topped with an edible sneaker. David’s lucky pals grabbed goodie bags on their way out the door but the party didn’t stop there. The “American Idol” alum shared a video of the after-party at the pool. “And after all of that , they still wanted to go swimming!” she captioned an aerial pic of the birthday boy with his friends in the water (Source).
In attendance at the event were Lala and Carmelo Anthony’s son, Kiyan Anthony, as well as Ciara and son Future Zahir.
