It’s official! Russell Wilson and Ciara are an item. The couple tied the matrimonial knot on Wednesday in England, making Russell little Future’s stepfather.
Ciara and Russell posted a picture from their wedding with the caption, “We are the Wilsons” underneath. The Seattle Seahawks player proposed to the R&B singer earlier this year. Ciara’s engagement ring captured the attention of many as some media outlets compared its size to that of a ring pop.
Russell expressed nothing but excitement about his new family a few weeks ago. The NFL star took to Instagram to dote on Ciara and her son while giving little Future well wishes on his birthday. “Watching him grow over the last year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I’ve ever been around,” Russell said. He went on to tell Ciara that she and her son brought him “pure joy” and that he was excited to be a part of little Future’s growth.
Ciara and Russell Wilson were in courtship for more than a year before marrying on Wednesday. Little Future is Ciara’s son with rapper Nayvadius Cash.
