Willow and Will Smith had a cute father-daughter moment at the Chanel Couture show in Paris on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. The celebrity father kissed his daughter as she took in his embrace while sitting front row and center at the show.
Willow is an ambassador for Chanel. The young star completed her first eyewear campaign a few weeks ago. “I know a lot of girls that look like me feel that they’re not beautiful and feel like they don’t have a place in the media or a place in the world,” Willow said during an interview with Telegraph.
“I want them to know that’s not true,” she continued. “If you’re confident and you love yourself then everything you see, your perception, will start to change and you’ll see things differently. I want to show those girls that might not think they’re beautiful but they are.”
Much of Willow’s confidence comes from her parents’ decision to grant liberality. “I would throw on crazy things which just didn’t go together and my Mom would be like ‘are you sure you want to do that?! It’s your decision if you want to do that.’ At a young age we were taught that it’s ok to dress however you want and express yourself,” Willow shared. She further explained, “It’s not what anyone else thinks about you, it’s what you think about yourself.”
Willow is Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s youngest child. The couple also has a son named Jaden, and Will has an adult son named Trey from a previous relationship.
