Will Malia Obama be the next intern at the United States Embassy in Spain? Maybe so. Several media outlets report that the oldest daughter of President and First Lady Obama has landed her first gig out of high school as a government employee.

“President Barack Obama’s eldest daughter is planning to do a summer internship at the U.S. Embassy,” FOX News Latino reports. “Malia’s decision to intern in the Spanish capital may be related to the Obamas’ friendship with the U.S. ambassador in Madrid, James Costos, and his romantic partner of 14 years, interior designer Michael S. Smith.”

Malia would be a perfect fit for an internship in Spain if the rumors are true. Even President Obama admitted that his daughter’s Spanish is better than his during a discussion with media. “Her Spanish is much better than mine,” he said. “I’m hoping that she has a chance to get entirely fluent,” he added.

Malia will attend Harvard University next year. She will celebrate her eighteenth birthday on Monday, July 4, 2016.
