What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with an NBA Championship? LeBron James had his kids around him while celebrating an incredible win on Sunday night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were victorious over the Golden State Warriors during game seven of the NBA Championship series. The team won by four points with the final score being 93-89.
LeBron attended the press conference with all three of his kids. “I’m coming home,” he said. “I’m coming home with what I said I was going to do.” The star athlete was holding his daughter while his sons sat on both sides of him.
James came full circle in 2014 when he left the Miami Heat to return to the Cavaliers in his hometown of Cleveland. “I’ve had goal for two years since I came back to bring a championship to the city,” he told media. “I gave it everything that I had. I poured my heart, my blood, my sweat and my tears into this game.”
The NBA star was full of emotions on the court immediately after his team won the championship. “I understand what everyone in northeastern Ohio have been through the last 50-plus years and I am happy to be a part of history,” LeBron shared with media. “I can’t wait to get back home,” he added. “I am ready to get to you guys.”
Cleveland will celebrate its championship team on Wednesday with a parade. LeBron James has two sons, Bryce and LeBron Jr., and a daughter named Zhuri with his wife, Savannah.
