It looks like Paula Patton’s son is taking after dad. The actress tells ET Online exclusively that 6-year-old Julian has rhythm like his father, Robin Thicke.
“He loves to put on dance parties, he likes to sing and dance… wonder where he gets that from,” she says. “Granted, I wasn’t a good singer, but I liked to do the exact same thing when I was kid,” Patton added.
It’s been a few months since Paula and ex-husband Robin Thicke announced their separation. Although the actress was initially afraid to journey life as a single woman and mother, she tells ESSENCE that the experience has been enlightening.
“It’s really nice, honestly, getting used to being alone,” she says. “It’s freeing. It’s scary at the beginning. It’s really scary. But it’s something I’m coming to embrace, knowing that that’s really what it is now – learning to love yourself, enjoying your time with your friends and family, and then it will sort itself out. But I gotta figure all that out I think first. I have to learn that.”
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton were married for ten years before divorcing last year. Julian is their only child.
