It was Beyonce’s big night but Blue Ivy Carter stole the show at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night. The 4-year-old wore a cute outfit and waved at paparazzi before heading into the venue to support her mom on her big night.

Jay-Z walked alongside Blue outside of the awards ceremony in New York City. The rapper’s tuxedo was outshined by Blue’s cream blazer and bow that coordinated perfectly with her black dress and shoes. Jay-Z was all smiles while holding his daughter’s hand. Blue was quite the interactive one as she waved to her adoring fans and made eye contact with photographers. At one point the little one leaned on her father. Jay-Z placed a loving hand on his daughter’s head as they moved along.

Beyonce was definitely dressed to impress at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The ‘Lemonade’ singer wore a Givenchy suit designed by Riccardo Tisci. Her hat was the highlight of the outfit as it was big and round.

Bey took full advantage of the spotlight that she received as a result of being given an award. “We have the opportunity to contribute to a society where any girl can look at a billboard or magazine cover and see her own reflection,” she said during her acceptance speech. “Soul has no color, no shape, no form. Just like all of your work, it goes far beyond what the eye can see. You have the power to change perception, to inspire and empower, and to show people how to embrace their complications, and see the flaws, and the true beauty and strength that’s inside all of us.”

Blue Ivy is Beyonce and Jay-Z’s only child. The little one celebrated her fourth birthday in January. See Blue’s grand arrival at the CFDA Fashion Awards below!
