The movie is set in a world inhabited by animals that closely resembles human society. Buster Moon (Academy Award® winner Matthew McConaughey) is the central character who has invested blood, sweat, and tears into a theater that is now falling apart. In an effort to save the auditorium, he puts on a singing contest that features five of the greatest talents around.

A mouse (Seth MacFarlane) takes center stage as an incredible crooner. The little superstar is also a trickster who has deceived a few people in his lifetime. Then there is the teenage elephant (Tori Kelly) who is talented but gripped by fear. A mother of 25 piglets (Academy Award® winner Reese Witherspoon) joins the competition as one who is looking for a break from her hectic life, and a gorilla (Taron Egerton) hopes to break family tradition by being a productive contributor to society. Finally, the punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) joins the talent search in hopes of going solo and disconnecting ties with her boyfriend who is arrogant. All of the hopefuls have one thing in common with Buster Moon: the start of something new.

Catch SING in theaters on December 21, 2016. Watch the film’s trailer below!
