Asha and Devon Still had the wedding of their dreams on Friday, May 13, 2016. The star couple tied the knot at the New York Public Library with a myriad of celebrity friends in attendance.
Leah Still walked her stepmother down the aisle at the ceremony’s beginning. The little one wore a custom-designed dress by Hayley Paige to the ceremony. Leah served as the flower girl for the monumental event. All eyes were on the little one who took on stage four cancer just two years ago and won.
Devon and Asha post-posted their wedding after learning of Leah’s medical condition in 2014. Although not yet married to the NFL star, Asha cared for Devon and Leah as if they were her own. “When my daughter was diagnosed with cancer she really stepped up and did things that a mother would do for Leah,” Devon said of Asha a few weeks back. “I definitely appreciate that and it showed me that I’m not going to find anybody out there who brings to a relationship what Asha brings, so I better make sure I lock her down.”
Still indeed made things official on Friday as the NFL star vowed to love and honor Asha till death. Holly Robinson Peete, Joe Buck, and Brandon Thompson were three of many celebrities to witness the couple exchange nuptials at the library.
The Knot Dream Wedding coordinated the event that involved Devon and Leah’s fanbase. Everything from the venue to flowers was chosen by way of public voting. Fans even chose the entrance song, which was ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ by Stevie Wonder.
