Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is the proud father of two kids, and two kids only. The rapper recently sat down with Keisha Nicole to talk about the controversial picture that made some fans think that he had a third son and the relationship he wished he had with his biological son, Marquise.
“He’s not my biological son, but I treat him as my son,” Jackson said of an exuberant fan who was overcome by tears after meeting 50 Cent a few weeks back. “I just met him and it was interesting because the way he looked at me and he’s shaking and crying,” the recording artist shared.
“[It was] all the things I wish my actual older son was but we just don’t have that relationship,” Jackson said of his relationship with Marquise. “When you pray for success, you don’t pray for jealously, envy or entitlement and those things come along with it. His mom’s entitlement has been filtered through him. So while being a privileged child, he still feels deprived.”
Keisha asked Curtis if it were possible for him to reconcile with his son, and the rapper answered in the negative. “It would be pretty tough to have it,” the star dad shared. “We haven’t communicated with each other in almost five years now, and he’s 20 [years old]. When you see people make relationships on the common ground of disliking you, it gets awkward when you see it’s your actual child.”
Marquise Jackson is 50 Cent’s only child with Shaniqua Tompkins. The rapper also has a son named Sire with Daphne Joy.
