We announced that she was pregnant with baby number two yesterday, and now Kerry Washington is showing her bump to the world. The ‘Scandal’ star put her protruding stomach on display at Met Gala 2016 Monday night.

The event was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and carried the theme of “Fashion In An Age of Technology.” Washington was certainly the stylish celeb as she graced the red carpet while wearing a sequined Marc Jacobs gown that hugged every curve and showed a bit of skin. The slit on the dress was perfectly placed so that Kerry could be both edgy and elegant. Washington was all smiles while cradling her bump and striking poses in the spotlight.

Rumor of the actress’ expectancy began to spread a few days ago after a photo of Kerry and her ‘Scandal’ crew circulated the Web. Many fans took note of the protective hand the star placed on her stomach while taking the group picture. Although Kerry did not confirm her expectancy, two close family friends revealed to E! News that the actress was indeed pregnant.

The little one will be Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha’s second child. The couple already has a daughter named Isabella.
