Shai Moss is another year old today! The daughter of Shad Moss and Joie Chavis is officially five years old. Shad took to his Instagram page to announce his little one’s birthday.
“Happy birthday to my 1st born, my phat momma, aka stinky butt, my Shai Shai,” the celebrity dad exclaimed. “I can’t believe your 5. I’m so proud of you. I hope today brings you happiness and plenty of fun times. You deserve the world enjoy! Love daddy!” Joie also wished her daughter well right before her special day. “Happy birthday Shai,” she captioned underneath a picture of her little one.

Shai was born on April 27, 2011. Shad did not immediately announce his fathering a child but waited to reveal his journey down parenthood road in a special letter to fans. “My lil girl is getting BIG fast,” he wrote months after Shai’s birth. “She inspires me to go harder,” he added. “Even made me treat my mother better. It’s like it made me into a man overnight.”
