Tatyana Ali was smiling from ear to ear as she graced the red carpet at the Black Girls Rock! 2016 show in New Jersey with her presence. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star showed off her bump in a beautiful blue gown, and discussed her pregnancy with media.
“I’m actually a little bit overwhelmed,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We made that announcement, but I wasn’t expecting all of the love that we received and all of the congratulations. It’s been so beautiful.” Although Tatyana refrained from sharing the gender of the child, she did tell the press that she and fiance Dr. Vaughn Rasberry want a “healthy and happy” baby.
The couple also want a modest wedding. “I think we want intimacy. We want to celebrate,” Ali told ET. “It’s about love and our family, and our very close friends.”
Tatyana ad Dr. Rasberry are expecting their little one to arrive in coming months. The couple are planning to join in matrimony this summer.
