Jacob Latimore was one of several stars to attend the screening of Sony Pictures Classics Miles Ahead on Wednesday. The actor and singer made a great showing at Metrograph in New York City.

Miles Ahead is the story of Miles Davis who is recognized as one of the greatest music artists of the 20th century. The film serves as his biography by showcasing Davis’ his rise to fame that was both adventurous and challenging. Don Cheadle is both the director and maincharacter of the movie, while Emayatzy Corinealdi and Ewan McGregor work alongside him as co-stars.

Jacob Latimore will soon have his chance to act alongside an industry giant. The young star is set to portray a character in the upcoming film Collateral Beauty, which features Will Smith as the main character. Smith will portray a New York advertising executive who retreats from society after experiencing tragedy. It is up to the executive’s colleagues to get him out of his state of depression by helping him cope with loss.

Collateral Beauty is slated for theater release in December. You can catch Miles Ahead on the big screen on Friday, April 1, 2016.
