Actor/comedian Kevin Hart hosted a free health fair On February 27th at The Grove to show the community how making simple lifestyle changes can be fun and help improve overall health. Over 6,000 people participated in the Rally HealthFest, which included activities such as dancing, yoga, cycling on Peloton bikes, games, massages. A half-dozen kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carson attended the healthfest as did Kevin’s children, Heaven Lee and Hendrix Hart.
“It’s simply about showing kids that you’re not a person that just talks,” he said of his appearance. “Health and fitness is something that made me take my life more seriously and realize how important it is to take care of your body, your heart.”
The event was sponsored by Rally Health, a digital service that helps consumers monitor their physical activity and lead healthier lifestyles.
Kevin Hart fathers two kids, Heaven and Hendrix, with ex-wife Torrei Hart. Heaven, the oldest, will celebrate her tenth birthday this month.
