Have you ever wondered what cats and dogs do when their owners are off to a hard day’s work? Just what does your parrot say about you to his friends? Universal’s new film, The Secret Life of Pets, seeks to answer these questions and more.
The location is Manhattan and the setting is an apartment building in the movie. Max is the central character until his owner brings a new pet named Duke home. The two must get past their many disagreements to save pets and their owners everywhere when they learn of a white bunny named Snowball’s plan to get revenge.
Kevin Hart stars as the villain in the film. This is his debut in an animation and he is already getting praise from critics for adding hilarity to the antagonist’s personality. Louis C.K. and Eric Stonestreet also make their animated debut in the film.
