The Currys are a charitable bunch. Stephen, Ayesha and the kids personally delivered 400 care packages to families in Oakland, California this past weekend.
Riley handed out toys to children while her parents gave moms and dads food. The 3-year-old interacted with kids her own age in addition to taking a few pictures with Ayesha and Stephen.
The Currys have worked side-by-side with Feed The Children for three years, where they have experienced the joys of giving back to their community. Stephen was even the recipient of the 2013-14 Kia Community Assist Seasonlong Award last year because his many charity efforts. A portion of the proceeds from the awards ceremony went to ThanksUSA.
Although he has been in the limelight because of his incredible skill on the court, Stephen remains humble. “For me, that comes from faith and family,” the Golden State Warriors said during one interview. “It’s who I am. It gives me balance. This is a high-pressure job. You gotta win. You gotta win. You gotta win. If you can turn it off for a while and make life normal, you can balance yourself out before you have to do it all over again.”
Ayesha and Stephen Curry are the proud parents of two daughters. The couple’s youngest child, Ryan, was born earlier this year.
