Deion Sanders is in the media since his sons, Shilo and Shedeur, told Instagram followers that their father kicked them out without giving them presents for Christmas.
According to Shedeur, he and his brother were shunned by Deion after the former NFL star saw their ear piercings. “My dad was mad because we got our ears pierced with our mom,” said the youngster. “Everyone in the household had their ears pierced but once me and Shilo got it, it’s a problem.”
Shilo also commented on his father’s actions by telling social media fans, “He kicked me out cause I got my ears pierced with my mom. No presents on Christmas.” The teen went on to thank his mom, Pilar Sanders,for “everything you do for us. I know it’s hard but u still always make sure we’re straight and having a good time.”
Deion and Pilar were involved in a very public divorce for a number of months before proceedings were finalized in 2013. The former couple still have quarrels about the kids even though Pilar lost custody last year. Deion Sanders has five children in all.
