Carmelo Anthony and his son Kiyan hosted a special screening of “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Road Chip” for children from the BELL and Tech International Charter After-School programs in New York on Monday. The NBA star smiled as photographers took pictures of him with his son on the red carpet.
The night was surely filled with fun as moviegoers got to see Alvin and his pals up to no good. The chipmunks take their wild behavior on the road in this latest installment after convincing themselves that Dave is going to ask for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage. Little do the munks know that their masters planning to do nothing of the sort. It’s a time filled with misunderstanding and a whole lot of traveling as the little munks are focused “wedding crashers.”
Carmelo Anthony certainly knows a thing or two about being focused and life on the road as one of the leading players of the New York Knicks. The star athlete was most recently given the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for all of his hard work on and off the court. Carmelo, along with his wife La La, have helped thousands of underprivileged children through their organization, and contributed to other charities throughout the years.
Kiyan is the couple’s only child together. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip makes its public debut on Friday.
