Holly Robinson Peete and the family dressed to impress at this year’s Diamond Ball at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California. The event was held on Thursday and hosted by R&B singer Rihanna for the Clara Lionel Foundation. Holly and her daughter, Ryan, wore beautiful gowns while the men of the family rocked black suits with black tennis shoes.
This year’s Diamond Ball was just as successful as the first. Rihanna did a spectacular job of hosting the party and raised thousands for the Clara Lionel Foundation. “It’s overwhelming to see so many of the people that I care about come together to support a cause that is near and dear to my heart,” said the star after the ball concluded. Will and Jada Smith were two of many A-list celebrities to attend the event, and Kevin Hart served as moderator.
Holly knows all about charity work as she and her husband, Rodney Peete Sr., work hard to spread awareness about autism through their HollyRod Foundation. “Too many families struggle underneath the financial weight of autism which is simply too expensive to live with,” said the star during Autism Awareness month. “Please remember to support families who cannot afford to live with this disorder.”
Holly and Rodney Peete have four kids together. Rodney Jr., the couple’s oldest son who also lives with autism, celebrated his eighteenth birthday in October.
