MARSAI MARTIN AND MILES BROWN AMONG NAACP IMAGE AWARDS NOMINEES

The NAACP Image Awards are coming up and the two youngest ‘Black-ish’ stars are up for awards. Marsai Martin and Miles Brown were among those nominated for Outstanding Support Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series.

The upcoming show will be the 47th year that the NAACP hosts its Image Awards. The organization has certainly selected the best and brightest in Hollywood to honor at the ceremony as Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross are also nominees.

“The Image Awards celebrates individuals who model principles of hard work, perseverance, and community empowerment and with the announcement of this year’s nominees the NAACP continues to spotlight the achievements of those in our community,” says Roslyn Brock, Chairman of the NAACP National Board of Directors. “We have enjoyed a great collaboration with TV One and look forward to working with them again this year to create a memorable evening of entertainment.”

The 47th NAACP Image Awards will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 9/8c. The ceremony will air as a two-hour special on TV One. See a list of young star nominees below!
