Mike Tyson is the latest celebrity to be immortalized by Madame Tussaudes. The star boxer saw the unveiling of his wax figure at the Venetian in Las Vegas this past Tuesday. Tyson had his wife and kids with him during the ceremony.
The celebrity dad’s figure was fashioned after his role in the hit film The Hangover. The 2009 movie brought in more than $460 million in box office sales, which was ten times more than the budget for the film. Tyson’s figure joined several other characters from the motion picture to make up ‘The Hangover Experience’ by Madame Tussaudes.
Although he has experienced his share of fame over the years, Mike treasures his family above all things. “If my family structure goes down, I’m going to be a really interesting person that you couldn’t even fathom,” said the star during one interview. “I cannot believe that I have a decent relationship now with my wife,” he added. “I can’t believe it. It’s just something that I want to do. I’m very clear now, and this is what I want to do.”
