Reagan Gomez-Preston and the family are celebrating autumn. The party of four had a blast at Disneyland last week where they took group pictures before enjoying rides.
“My finger wanted in on the picture as well,” shared Reagan along with one candid on Instagram. The actress was commenting on the smudge on the lower right corner that was her finger.
Reagan tells media that she and husband DeWayne Turrentine are learning to balance the information they pass on to their daughter, Scarlett, who is in the third grade. “There’s a lot I try to keep from her until she gets older, I don’t want to bombard her,” says Gomez-Preston. “Not only is she black, she’s a black girl. You have issues you deal with as a black girl, that you brother may not have to deal with. It’s hard.”
One of the issues that Reagan and her husband are coping with is the abundance of information that their kids are exposed to in this Internet age. “These kids nowadays, they’re exposed to so much. Both of my kids, they have iPads, they literally have the world hat their fingertips,” shares the actress.
Reagan and DeWayne Turrentine have two kids, Scarlett and Tyger, together. Scarlett celebrated her eighth birthday in May and Tyger rang in his fourth birthday on April 2, 2015.
