Glory Johnson is having twin girls. The WNBA star shared the news with fans on Monday.
“#TeamBows,” captioned Johnson underneath a picture of herself with friends. “Blessed to be having 2 baby girls,” added the athlete.
Glory announced her expectancy a few months ago by way of social media. “#SUCCESS #BLESSED #WelcomeToTheJohnsonGrinerFamily,” shared the celebrity on Instagram. Johnson also uploaded a picture of an oven with a bun inside. She later told media that she looked forward to journeying the road of parenthood with then-partner Brittney Griner.
“It has always been a dream of mine to start a family with someone I love,” shared Glory. “Being a professional athlete that plays year-round, there is never a perfect time to get pregnant without putting my career on hold. The entire process, from learning our fertility options, to making sacrifices necessary nine months before the child is born, is merely preparing me to become a great wife and an even better mother.”
Johnson is expecting her twins to arrive in winter.
