Thousands of underprivileged kids received school supplies for the upcoming school year and David Jr., Jennifer’s son, entertained attendees with his Michael Jackson moves. “N bad baby decided he was going to dance for the people ! Have his MJ moment” shared Jennifer along with video footage of her son dancing.

Jennifer established the Julian D. King Foundation after her nephew was tragically murdered in 2008. The singer, along with the foundation, have since helped several thousand kids return to school fully prepared to learn with state of the art supplies.

“We give back to unfortunate kids in Chicago,” said Hudson last year at the event. “Kids are headed back to school and we want to make sure they are in good shape.”

Little David is Jennifer Hudson’s only child with fiancé David Otunga Sr. He celebrated his sixth birthday a few days ago.
