Long is in full celebration mode now that she is engaged to long time boyfriend Ime Udoka. The celebrity mom was recently spotted leaving a local diner wearing an engagement ring that Ime placed on her finger. She was all smiles while out with her husband-to-be.
Nia told media in 2013 that career-driven women often find themselves at a crossroads when it comes to family. “I think that women who are extremely driven to success, ambitious, I think they get to a point in their lives where they’re like, ‘Uh oh. I am 30-something years old, and I don’t have a husband and I don’t have children yet and what does that mean?’ I think what it means is stay in your course because it’s going to happen when it’s supposed to happen,” said the star. She further explained, “It doesn’t happen for everyone at the same time, so you can’t compare your life to someone else’s.”
Nia and Ime began dating several years ago and welcomed their son, Kez, into the world in 2011. Long also has a son named Massai from a previous relationship.
