Mariah Carey can always count on her kids to be her inspiration. The ‘I Know What Love Is’ singer recently brought her son, Moroccan, and daughter, Monroe, onstage after performing on ‘Live! With Jimmy Kimmel.’
Carey held her daughter in her arms and tried to convince her to interact with fans. She, however, didn’t push Monroe to come out of her shell and began to make her way off the stage while holding her little princess. It was then that Moroccan came onstage and began following his mom and sister. Mariah stopped to give the toddler, who wasn’t as shy as his sister in the moment, a big hug.
Although she has enjoyed every bit of motherhood since the twins’ birth, Mariah recently admitted that her pregnancy experience was less than desirable. “The pregnancy itself, it was very difficult,” said the star. “I had gestational diabetes, I had preeclampsia, I had all these things you don’t even want to know about.” Carey added, “Anyone who’s ever had twins, I salute you, seriously anybody out there because it’s not easy.”
While challenges have presented themselves, Mariah has met every trial with grace. The singer is currently performing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she and the kids are “having fun.” See Monroe and Moroccan at their mom’s latest performance on ‘Live!’ below!
