Despite her ongoing custody battle with rapper Ludacris, Tamika Fuller got to spend Mother’s Day with her baby girl Cai Bridges and her eldest daughter. The proud mom shared a picture of herself with her daughters on Sunday.
“Dear God: Thank you,” shared Tamika along with the picture on Instagram. “You have given me two of the biggest blessings I have ever received in this lifetime. They are my world my reasons my earth my sun my moon my stars and everything that glitters in between this galaxy and beyond. I love them both more than oxygen and my heart beats only for them. Best Mothers Day ever ️️️️ #blessed #family #mykidsareawesome.”
Tamika has been involved in a very public custody battle with Ludacris for the past few months. She lost custody of Cai earlier this year after a judge determined that Ludacris had more financial stability . Fuller later told media that the courts’ decision was biased. “There is definitely a favoritism that is shown to wealthy, male celebrities,” wrote the mom in an open letter. “If they even pretend to act like they care, even if evidence clearly shows otherwise, they are rewarded. Their lies are excused and their past mistakes are viewed as growth, while mistakes made by ‘regular’ women many years ago are weapons used against them.”
Tamika has gotten a job in the hospitality field in hopes of regaining custody of her daughter. She has also started a fundraiser to help curve her legal costs and assist other mothers going through custody battles. Cai is Fuller’s only child with Ludacris.
