Monica Brown and the kids enjoyed a weekend of camaraderie and adventure as they went on a school Safari trip with Tameka “Tiny” Harris and her son. Monica’s son, Romelo, had lots of fun with his good friend Major Harris, and Monica took several pictures with her daughter Laiyah.
“Selfies with My Baby Girl earlier this am before heading off to #RomelosSafariFieldTrip,” shared the singer along with a picture of her and Laiyah posing in the middle of nature. The little one wore a cute outfit while her mom rocked a head scarf that was befitting for the outing.
Although Romelo was also on the excursion, after all it was his class trip, he did not take many pictures with mom. Major also left his mother hanging in the area of candids. “Even tho our boys ditched us and hing with their class we grabbed our own truck to follow behind,” shared Monica along with a picture of her and Tiny. “All Good we got Laiyah,” added the singer.
Romelo’s Safari adventure was one of several things that made Monica smile this past Mother’s Day weekend. Riding around town in a white horse carriage with her mother was another joyous moment for the recording artist. Shannon Brown went all out for his wife and mother-in-law on Sunday by renting horses and a luxurious carriage to transport them around Downtown Atlanta. “In all the years I’ve been here we’ve never done this,” shared Monica after the trip. “Thank u SB for making Mothers Day special for us both.”
The singer also commented on her kids’ enjoyment of the royal treatment by telling fans that Romelo and Laiyah “had a ball.” Monica and Shannon Brown have one child, Laiyah, together.
