The Residence Inn by Marriott held its fifth annual Mom of the Year awards ceremony on Tuesday and hailed Tamera Mowry-Housley as its supermom of 2015. The ‘Real’ co-host thanked the hospitality company in person and online for the honor.
“Thank you @ResidenceInn by Marriott for choosing me as your 2015 mom of the year,” shared Tamera on Instagram after receiving a plaque that read “Resident Mom” at the top during the ceremony. The celebrity mom also praised the Residence Inn for serving as a home away from home when she travels with her family.
“With a home on the west coast, family in the mid-west, and work obligations on the east coast, I know what it’s like to have a travel-filled schedule that balances motherhood and a career, with some necessary ‘me-time’ thrown in the mix,” Tamera said in a statement. “I love that Residence Inn is everywhere and has all the comforts of home, but even better – with features like grocery delivery service and great options at breakfast, we can focus our attention on the important things, like discovering new places and adventures.”
Tamera is expecting her second child with husband Adam Housley to arrive this summer. The Housleys will celebrate their son Aden’s third birthday in November.
