Zendaya Coleman is the latest young star to launch her very own shoe line. The singer announced plans to debut a collection that features an array of styles earlier this week.
“We plan on doing the best of everything,” said Zendaya who is collaborating with her stylist, Law Roach, for the project. “We’re going to create a good sneaker, and we’re going to do a cute flat,” added the star.
Coleman went on to share the inspiration behind her new venture saying, “My inspiration is all of the young women out there who are my age and older—working women who don’t necessarily want to spend a trillion dollars, but want to get a good shoe. I want to make affordable shoes of quality that are very fashion forward, chic, and that I’m going to wear.”
Fans of Zendaya can expect her shoe collection to make its debut in coming months. They can see the 18-year-old this Saturday as host of the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards.
