After making a statement about his daughter that sparked a bit of family conflict, Bobby Brown is bringing clarity to the situation. The R&B singer’s attorney, Christopher Brown, released a statement about Bobbi Kristina on Tuesday that gave more insight on her medical condition.
“Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life,” said Bobby’s counsel. “However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.” Christopher went on to thank fans for their support and prayers. “God is hearing our prayers,” said the attorney.
Bobby Brown told fans at his concert in Prairie, Texas, on Saturday that his daughter was awake and responsive. “Bobbi is awake,” said Brown. “She’s watching me.” Tina Brown, Bobbi’s aunt, also testified to the young adult being awake telling Twitter fans, “she woke up and is no longer on life support.” Tina also told subscribers that the ordeal was “still a process.”
Bobbi Kristina has been in an unconscious state since January. She is Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s only child together.
