Charity was at the forefront on Saturday night as Didier Drogba along with his foundation hosted a charity ball. It was the athlete’s fourth annual banquet, and many stars came out to support the event.
Sarah Jane Crawford and Christina Milian were two celebrities who impressed on the red carpet. Many fans adored Sara’s dress that was simple but elegant. Christina Milian also went for uncomplicated attire as she wore an ankle-length pink dress that had a split on the left side. Both of Didier’s kids were at the event and took several pictures with their father on the red carpet. Iman’s dress was a beautiful myriad of colors while Isaac’s attire was in sync with his father’s wear.
The Didier Drogba Foundation has sought to lend a helping hand to underprivileged individuals living in Africa since 2007. Thousands of African children are not offered proper medical attention, and many are currently denied educational opportunities that could improve their economic standing in later years. The Didier Drogba Foundation seeks to change things by spreading awareness about the problems plaguing the poor in Africa and funding programs that will help those in need.
In the near future, the foundation hopes to have several mobile clinics established in Africa that will assist individuals living in remote villages. Didier Drogba has two sons and one daughter.
